TRAINING FOR YOUR "BEST
FRIEND"… WE HAVE A PROGRAM TO MEET YOUR NEEDS!
We offer a wide variety of training programs designed to help your canine
companion become a more enjoyable family member and a better citizen of his
community! For very young puppies, between two and five months, Puppy
Kindergarten will provide early socialization, introduction of basic
commands, and help with stopping puppy problems before they become bad
habits. If your dog is six months or older (or a large breed four months
or
older), one of our Novice Dog Obedience classes will help you establish
communication skills with your dog, and work on correcting behavior problems.
You can choose from over 160 group classes, which meet on a weekly basis
at
various parks and community centers in more than 100 different locations
throughout Orange County and adjacent areas of Los Angeles, Riverside, and San
Bernardino Counties. We probably have a class near you! (Please see our class
schedule to find a convenient location and time)
If you prefer the convenience and privacy of In-Home
Training, we'll send one
of our experienced, professional trainers to work with you one-on-one.
These
lessons can be tailored to your specific needs, no matter what your dog's
age, skill level or problems. Registration form located here.
Our seminar on Problem Solving is a program taught by our Senior
Master Trainer, Paul Thurner, who shares his 40 years of dog training
experience in this informative lecture on a variety of dog behavior problems.
If your dog already knows basic obedience skills, and you're interested in
continuing his education, we have several Advanced level classes for you to
choose from. Focus his attention and improve on his obedience skills and
off-leash control! We're also proud to present the American Kennel
Club
Canine Good Citizen Certification Test for dogs of all breeds. Have your
dog
tested in ten skill areas to show that he knows how to behave when he's out
in public! Earn your official A.K.C. Good Citizen certificate! After
you've taken a basic obedience class, you may want to enroll in our
Grad-Novice class, or try our new
Rally-Obedience for a fun way to compete
in obedience! These are also listed on our Class
Schedule page.
If you're looking for a fun activity to provide exercise, new challenges, and
quality time for you and your dog, try our Canine Games Agility Course! Tunnels, jumps, climbing obstacles, weave-poles, and other challenging
apparatus will prevent him from becoming a couch potato! You've seen
agility
on television, and now YOUR dog can join in the fun too! Other fun
and active Dog Sports include Flyball and
Frisbee
Classes.
