PUPPY KINDERGARTEN:
START YOUR NEW PUP OUT ON THE RIGHT PAW!
Establishing good manners and socialization at an early age can make your new
puppy a more enjoyable and trustworthy member of your family! This course,
geared for young puppies between two and five months of age, will emphasize
socialization, and will introduce pups to basic commands, including heel,
sit, stay, come, and down. Also included will be discussions on various
puppy-care topics, such as housebreaking, jumping up, teething problems,
health-care pointers, etc. Adult or junior handlers (nine years or older)
may attend. Additional family members are welcome to observe the
class at
no charge. Puppy diplomas will be presented at the last class.
Please do
NOT bring puppies to the first class meeting, which will be an
orientation
lesson. Proper types of collars and leashes will be discussed.
Most of our Puppy Kindergarten classes are 6-week sessions, and the class fee
in most locations is between $60 and $68 per puppy. At least two of the boosters for Parvovirus and Distemper must be completed before puppies may
attend class, and shots must be kept current.
Please take a look at our class schedule to find a Puppy Kindergarten class
in or near your neighborhood. Please pre-register!
