Bring your Bark to the Park for a Really Fun Time!

FRISBEE FUN FOR FIDO!   PHOTOS BELOW!

Have you ever watched the Dog Frisbee Competitions on television or seen the demonstration teams perform at the Fair and thought it might be a fun activity for you and your best friend?

Here’s your chance to learn the sport of Canine Frisbee from an avid disc-dog competitor, David Procida.  TWO PROGRAMS WILL BE OFFERED: The one-day workshop ($39.00-$45.00 per dog in most locations, plus $5 insurance/materials fee due to instructor at first meeting) will give you an introduction to the basics of disc-throwing techniques, and motivating your dog to bring the disc back to you, as well as some beginning work on stunts such as weaving between your legs and twists.  The six-week session ($65.00 per dog plus $5 insurance/materials fee due to instructor at first meeting)  will get you started with the skills above, and continue into more challenging skills including longer distance throws and additional stunts such as flips and vaults for dogs who are old enough and have learned the basics.  David will also help you put your moves and Frisbee skills together and help you develop a routine to perform. A fun performance will be held on the last meeting of the 6-week session, and certificates and trophies will be awarded. Dogs attend all meetings. For BOTH the workshop and the 6-week session, please PRE-REGISTER and bring your dog on a collar and leash, bring current vaccination records, water for both you and your dog, a lawn chair, a tie-out stake if you have one, and $5.00 insurance/materials fee.  A practice Frisbee will be provided for each student.
