CALIFORNIA CANINE GAMES & AGILITY (CCGA)
(THE
AGILITY DIVISION OF DOG SERVICES UNLIMITED) is proud to present: CANINE GAMES AGILITY COURSE

INTRODUCE YOUR DOG TO THIS FUN CANINE SPORT
HE'LL NEVER COMPLAIN OF BEING BORED AGAIN!
Amusement, adventure and athletic activities await all breeds of dogs and their humans at this unique agility obstacle course. Get your
canine couch-potato out of the house and treat him each week to an entertaining hour
of fun, exercise, and new challenges as you guide him through a wide variety of intriguing stations, including open and collapsed tunnels, teeter-totter,
tire-jump, A-frame, pause-table, dogwalk, weave-poles, and a variety of bar and panel jumps.
Come socialize with other dogs and their owners,
as you have fun introducing your dog to the excitement of Canine Agility!
Our course equipment meets A. K. C. Agility standards. No previous
experience is needed for our Novice Agility course, (listed on Class Schedule as "Agility-Beg") but knowing some basic obedience commands will be
very
helpful in directing your dog around the obstacles. Owners are responsible
for keeping their dogs under control at all times, and any dogs displaying
aggressive behavior towards other dogs or people will not be allowed at class
without a muzzle. All vaccinations must be kept current. Families
are
welcome, and kids ages 10 years and older, accompanied by a parent may participate.
Trophies and certificates will be awarded at a timed agility competition on
the last meeting. For Intermediate or Advanced-level Agility programs,
please scroll down on this page. Our course is run as an 8-week session, with the first
meeting held WITHOUT DOGS. The registration fee in most cities is about
$72-$75,(pre-register) with an additional $30.00 materials fee (for equipment maintenance,
insurance, and awards) payable to the instructor at the first class
meeting.

Please check our Class Schedule for locations and starting dates of the class
most convenient to you. Most of our Agility classes fill quickly every
session, so be sure to pre-register early to assure a place in the class of your choice!
Registration note: Some of our classes are
co-sponsored by
the Recreation Departments of multiple cities … You may be able to sign up
through your own city for a class being offered in a neighboring city, and in
some cases, save having to pay an additional non-resident charge. Please
see below for some of these co-sponsored classes.
All breeds of
dogs are welcome to join our "Canine Games Agility Course", offered in
several cities throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties. See our
Class
Schedule, and look in the type of class column for "Agility" to find
the best class for you. Don't let your dog miss out on the fun ... Give
him a new leash on life! This photo is from one of our Yorba Linda
classes. (More photos at bottom of page)

AGILITY CLASSES FOR DOGS WITH PREVIOUS AGILITY EXPERIENCE:
INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED CLASSES: 8-WEEK SESSIONS
We also offer Intermediate/Advanced Agility classes in some locations
where our Beginning Agility classes are taught. These classes (listed
on Class Schedule page as "Agility-Adv") are for dogs who have graduated
from one
of our Beginning Agility classes, or who have already been introduced to all agility apparatus (as listed in Canine Games Agility Course description
above) and are comfortable with all course equipment. This class will help
you with improving your dog's performance, accuracy, and course time, and
provides you with an opportunity to continue enjoying this fun activity with
your dog in a setting with other intermediate/advanced level students. Some more
challenging strategies will be introduced, and jumps and A-frame will be set
higher than in the Beginning Course. More emphasis will be placed on
working the weave poles, and focusing the dog's attention. The courses may include
traps and options. Our class fees for Intermediate /Advanced
Agility classes are $72-$75 for the
eight-week session. (plus a $30 equipment maintenance/insurance fee)
